Moggs Reunions

The 2005 Moggs Reunion was held in Caulfield at the home of the Restarick family - thanks to them for their generous hospitality. The organising committee was led by long-time Moggs resident John Johnson. An attractive brochure was produced by graphic designer Mary Mason. Here are some photos to remind you of that day.

The photo shows the organising committee, (L to R) John Crook, John Johnson, Cliff Restarick, Albert Brown.

This illustration shows the title-piece of a slide series presented to the gathering. The sombre philosophical tone of the visual material presented was an indication of the seriousness of the occasion.

Those present were told of the aims and history of the Moving Clickers film society by secretary Joan McDonald; the dangers of taking place in a 1950's Moggs hill climb by John Johnson and the problems being experienced in moving Dame Minnie's statue form Mt Feathertop to Mt Everest, by acting Moggs mayor, Albert Brown.

Reunion participants were invited to answer many questions relating to the future of Moggs. Decisions were thus made on crucial matters such as the brand of wines to be used on AirMogg international flights and the date for the next reunion.

You will be overjoyed to hear that the next Moggs reunion will take place in 2259 AD - Book now, as this will be a unique event celebrating the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Moggs by Sir Sam.

A booklet on Moggs was distributed and memories of the past recorded for posterity.

These photos are of the 250th reunion.
